A Firefighter Story - Yes!
What news can you write about each month? Is our school is having a special event, a sports event, a musical - do you have a hobby or sport you would like to share? Read a good book? See a good movie? Write a Review! Our first news story will unfold on our blog - first your story ideas/plan and sources to be listed. Then, Gather your information - and interview your sources, or attendees to the event you are writing about, an expert - Remember, all the things we talked about in class - check your notes - Read Bear Essential News for Kids for ideas and examples of writing pieces - BEGIN!
1) Is my story of interest to others?
2) Where can I find information about my story?
3) Who can I talk to that has knowledge of my subject?
4) Can I set up interviews/maybe a phone interview in time?
Keep your Young Reporters Notebook with all your notes/files and story ideas. Keep track of your contacts and how to reach them.
Subjects to consider; Interesting People, Visitors at our school, animals, pets, school issues/events - holidays, clubs, scholastic groups - hobbies you do - sports you play, events you attend - travel trips -
Your job is to report and to be informational - you are teaching your reader about the subject.
Your first assignment is to post up your Story Topic, possible Title and two people you could interview - put up in comments by next Wednesday - October 5th.
Next - work on your story - include the 5 W's and H as discussed in class - remember to interview at least 2 sources/people if possible - set up a game plan - set up interviews - visits - etc.
Refer to your Bear Essential News for Kids news papers as examples ... remember what you learned when Mr. Gin gave his presentation. Look at your notes - what did we talk about in class?
Your news story will be about four or five paragraphs - let people know
Create and edit - take lots of photos - choose 3 or 4 of you favorite - let me know who is in the photograph as discussed in class - share your photos (jpegs) via email - send to Ms. Lane at slane@ridgelineacademy.org -
News Stories due with final edited and reviewed report in your writing portfolio folder - and posted on the blog by Wednesday, October 26th - stories will be shared in class - and also may/may not be sent in for consideration for publication.

Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamed of becoming a firefighter. My dad has been a firefighter with the Phoenix Fire Department for almost 15 years. He loves his job and I always have a great time whenever I come to visit him at the station.
Becoming a firefighter is a long process. To get hired, you need to pass a physical, oral and written exam. To pass the physical you need to be in great shape. You also need to become an E.M.T. or Emergency Medical Technician. Even though college isn't required, it is very helpful.
These days there are more and more female firefighters. Girls are proving that they can do the job just as well as the guys. In fact, the Fire Chief of the Phoenix Fire Department is a female. I have had a chance to meet a few of the female firefighters and they are very strong and athletic.
Being a firefighter can be very demanding and dangerous. My dad was part of a Technical Rescue Team and rescued hikers off of mountains when they got stuck. He had to repel from a helicopter into areas that he couldn't hike to. He also has had to respond to many fires. Since he works on a ladder truck, his job is to go on the roofs of burning buildings and cut holes to let the heat and smoke out of the house. Then other firefighters can go inside and put out the fire.
Because firefighting is a demanding job, it is very important to stay in good shape. Most of the equipment they use is very heavy. For instance, the jaws of life and the S.C.B.A. (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) are types of equipment they have to use that are very heavy.
One of the best things about being a firefighter is that they help people and every day is different and exciting. They are also very involved in the communities they work in. They take part in fundraisers and even go to schools to teach kids about fire safety. Some firefighters coach sports when they are off duty. I hope that one day I will get to do this exciting job.

Roblox is a fun game that I like to play on my free time. I like to play Roblox because it’s a creative game, I can play and chat with my friends. Roblox is an app and website that hosts and builds games, sort of made out of Lego-like characters. This app is becoming very popular all over the world with kids of all ages, especially 8-18.
The creator of Roblox is David Baszucki who lives in San Mateo, California. Baszucki created Roblox to have a multi-player platform in the cloud, where people could imagine, create and share their experiences together. He created Roblox ten years ago. “ The vision we had when we started the company is finally coming through.” Said Baszucki. Over 500,000 people are creating games per month.
I like to play this app on my computer but you can also play on tablets, smartphones, and even virtual head sets. There are lots of games you can play, not just one, in Roblox. My favorite game is Roblox High School. The creator made this app safe and secure to talk with friends, which I love. Something fun is to buy clothes with Robux, Roblox money, and dress up your character. When you first sign up you can make a user name, mine is Foxyandkittens.
When I interviewed Shaylee Smith, I asked her if she played Roblox? “Yes, I found out about it from my friend Kaisha(me). Kaisha said it was fun and I wanted to check it out.” Then I asked her if she liked it more than Minecraft? She does like it more than Minecraft because “You can find mods easier,” she said. Shaylee said she has been playing for about two months. She is one of many of my friends that play Roblox. From The Mercury News, David Baszucki said, “They found people that were creating interesting things far superior to anything we could ever build.” He hopes people of all ages will enjoy playing this app.
In conclusion, I think this is a great way for friends to come together to play and be creative. David Baszucki agrees, he said, “Roblox satisfies a need to come together with friends almost like playing outside.” This game helps the mind think. I think all my friends should start playing Roblox. It also makes me want to create my own games!
Hi Kaisha this is Rees. I think this is a good story but you forgot to separate the paragraphs. I think you mean when you said virtual head sets you mean virtual reality headsets. My favorite part of the story was when you talked about the games. Good story Kaisha.

Sadly, on September 25th 2016 Miami Marlins ace pitcher Jose Fernandez got killed in a boat crash. It looked like the boat got blown over by the wind and on to dry land. During a press conference, shortly after the Marlins found out Jose passed away, the whole team was there and most of the Marlins were crying. The game the Miami Marlins were going to play on Jose’s death got cancelled.
The first game the Miami Marlins played after Jose Fernandez’s death was against the New York Mets. The Marlins wore their black jerseys, but with Fernandez on the back along with the number 16. The first player to bat for the Marlins was Dee Gordon. The first pitch Dee had Jose’s helmet on. The next pitch Dee Gordon had his helmet on and hit a home run.
Jose Fernandez had a career spanning from 2013-2016. The time Jose Fernandez and his friends spent in a popular Miami bar shortly before their boat wreck is now a focal point of the investigation into the Marlins star's death. I found out one operating theory is the driver was attempting to go around the jetty, but misjudged it in the darkness at high speed. My friend, Michael said “I was sad when he passed away because he looked like a good pitcher.” My other friend, Steven said he felt ”sad, very sad.”
The boat crashed on a rocky jetty. There were 3 people on Jose’s 32-foot boat including himself and none of the passengers survived the crash. Jose had a career record of 38-17 and pitched 471.1 innings. He was 6 foot 3 inches and making 28 million dollars. Jose was born on July 31st 1992 in Santa Clara, Cuba.
Jose Fernandez had 3 errors in the MLB and hit 2 home runs in his Major-League career. Jose appeared in 76 games and won the NL Rookie of the Year in 2013. Jose pitched 2.1 innings in his two appearances in the all-star game and 40.1 innings in Spring Training. He had a career ERA of 2.58 and had 589 strikeouts. That’s 7.75 strikeouts per appearance for Jose. This is what I wrote for my news story what would you write?

Music is a way of many things. We all dance to it or sing to it. Well one family devoted their life to teaching kids music. They are the Tall Timbers Publishing Corporation. The people who work there are amazing. The program is amazing. They send a package that has CD's and books about the music. They encourage students and kids to learn about music.
Music is an amazing thing everyone says. "The music is amazing", said Faith F. This company is a good company to help us and more students. Music is amazing, it helps us learn better.
Music is a better way to learn. My class uses music and our class gets more work done to music. "Music matters to most", said Jenna D. So everyone likes music. It is so calming and so relaxing.
Lots of people love to listen to music. "Beethoven's Symphony #5 is my favorite", Rees G. said. So music is a thing that fills everyone's lives. Everyone likes to look at music videos, it is also good for helping you get your work done.

The reason why Atticus likes football is he likes how active it is. Atticus plays football at deer valley district.The reason why Atticus chose football is his dad played football.What he likes about his team is his coaches encourage him. Atticus and his team play well together because they only lost three games.
The reason why my dad played football is he wanted to say with his friends.The reason why my dad is interested in football is because he use to play. My dad could not remember what team he played for.But he played everywhere in texas.
My favorite football team is the carolina panthers. My favorite player is cam newton. He plays for the carolina panthers. He plays quarterback. Cam holds a football record for being the first player to throw 2,000 yards and rush 1,000 yards.
The reason I played football is I think it's fun. The reason why I think it's fun is it is challenging and exciting. You get a lot of exercise and you get to become strong. You get to learn good sports man ship.You get to meet new friends.

I have interviewed my Mom and my Sister. Mom's experience with dance is amazing but challenging. My Sister 's experience with dance is fun but hard. My Sister's dream is to dance forever. My Sister likes dancing because you win prizes and it is fun to be on stage.
My Mom has danced for 12 years! My Sister has been dancing for three years now and she still is dancing.I have been dancing for 8 years now. All three of us started at Bender Performing Arts. My Mom liked taking dance lessons because of the sense of accomplishment.
My experience with dance is amazing. I like to dance because when the music is on ,the beat flows through me. My favorite type of dance is what I like to call free dance. My Mom went to daycare and they were doing dance lessons. My Sister followed me and my Mom in dancing.
Martha Graham is my favorite dancer. Martha was born on May 11, 1894. She had two sisters. Her father was a doctor. She moved to California when she was ten. She became interested in studying dance in 1914.
Her parents did not approve of her becoming a dancer. Her father died in 1914. After graduating college she went to dance school. In 1925 she became a dance instructor. Thank you for reading. Have a great day. Bye.

The Bear Essential News had a news reporting workshop at the Phoenix Zoo on September 25th ,2016 . Mr Josh carried out a black and white skunk which was my friend Jenna's favorite part . At that time we were learning about writing and reporting . We learned about things like what to do on an interview . Also my teacher Ms. Lane came over and she talked about some questions on an interview .
Things to help you with a story are books, calendars,brochures, television, and school flyers . Books have information on a certain topic in them . Calendars show when certain events are . Brochures and school flyers both show events with the time and date . News story ideas could be on television .
An interview is when someone asks another person questions for information on a story or just out of curiosity . To plan an interview before you call the person you are going to interview come up with four or five questions because the might be ready then . If they set up an interview for later come up with four or five more questions . When you take notes for an interview paraphrase somethings and quote short sayings . Make sure when you quote people spell their name right and check off questions you have already asked so you don't ask a question again . When you are done say thank you and how may I contact you if I have any more questions .
At the workshop Steven Jin talked about what a good news story has . One thing he said was in news always tell the truth . In news it always has to be new and factual . Mr Jin told us the news paper doesn't want old news because old news is history . A good story is unusual and has conflict .
There are different types of interviews one of them are celebrity interviews where you interview a celebrity. You should interview someone who knows what you are talking about.If you went to the event you are now an official reporter. My friend Faith Fricke said that now she is a reporter "she feels she can interview anyone" . Press release is when you invite the media for the public to see . The workshop was super fun .

ReplyDeleteArt is a good hobby and career. It is fun to draw and create things, and if you get good at it, you can make money too. When you take art lessons, you can learn how to draw and paint cool paintings like the Mona Lisa or the Starry Night. You can take private lessons or public lessons in school or outside of school to get good and draw like a famous artist. You don’t have to take lessons to be a talented artist. My grandma was self-taught, read books, and took workshops, and later became a talented artist and teacher.
I asked what inspired her in art, and she said her grandma, who taught her to “love creating”. If you want to get inspired in art, you can be inspired by museums and other people. You can be creative and make it up as you go. My grandma says, “It establishes self-esteem and provides a way to express oneself”.
My grandma’s kitchen table was her first art class, then she took classes at a local Michael’s store. You don’t have to go to fancy classes, you can learn how to do it anywhere. You can learn from others who have experience with art. If you can’t afford an art class, you can always look up how to create things on YouTube.
It’s easier to start when you’re young, so you learn the basics. That way when you are older, you will move up to higher levels in art and move on to harder things. If you do this, you will make cooler art projects and become a teacher. Three months after her first art class, my grandma got hired at Hobby Lobby and started her own art class.
It takes patience if you want to learn to do art or anything else. If you keep going, you can get better at it. You can become a professional and sell your artwork like my grandma. You can even help crime victims find the criminals by sketching their faces. Anyone can do art, and you will gain a good skill that not many people have.

ReplyDeleteAll-star cheerleading is a very popular ,hard ,fun ,and competitive sport. The population of Americans that do all-star cheerleading today is 1.5 million. As a cheerleader I know how difficult it is to be thrown into thrown into the air and rely on the bases below you as a flyer and to throw people in the air without dropping or shaking the flyers. It is not easy, cheerleading is a very complicated spot. My favorite cheerleading quote is "Once a... cheerleader. Always a... cheerleader.
The start of cheerleading as a sport to the whole world was led by the 1997 start of broadcasting of cheerleading competition by ESPN. There was a movie made in 2000 called "Bring It On" did also spread the word about cheerleading. There are over 100,000 participants in cheerleading. There is many cheerleading competition all over the world.
Over the fun of cheerleading the sport holds the highest rate of catastrophic injuries in sports. Even thought people had Horton very injured flying Kaylee Johnson prefers being a flyer because she "loves the rush of being a flyer." Karys O'keeff'e also prefers being a flyer.
Tumbling is one of the hardest parts of being a cheerleading. You have to run hurdle then use as much power as you can to flip yourself upside down then land on your feet. It is one of the hardest and most dangerous things about being a cheerleader.
As a cheerleader I know that it is stressful and tiring to do a about two minute routine. Being a cheerleader is not easy. I takes a lot of hard work and time to do.
I love how you pretty much told you life story, but I think you could add a bit more detail to your story. Finally I love how lengthy you paragraphs are.

the person that i interviewed is Johnny. what i interviewed him was about is pokemon. The first question i ask him was. How did you get into pokemon. He said 'my mom started a faimly generation on pokemon. so she passed it down to me.i watch packmen then got the game then i started collecting the cards.
thats how he got into pokemon. now for the second question i ask is whats your favorite pokemon and why. He said my favorite is bulbasaur.
Because out of the other stater pokemon bulbasaur was the coolest in my opinion .Because other grass type pokemon evolution goes into other pokemon but bulbasaur basically stays the same and his flower stares to bloom when he evolves.
Then he said his mom also watched Pokemon still. I asked him what do you think of Pokemon and he said it is scientific. Because of the Pokemon evolution.
My opinion on Pokemon is awesome. Because Pokemon has a strategy place. Also it has math in it.
I liked your story about Pokemon. But I think in paragraph 2 you could have not been in a rush. I loved the story about Johnny. I really think you should have had more than one person talked about in your story. And really make sure you have upper case not lower case. I like the title.

ReplyDeleteSeptember 20th, 2016 a game called NBA 2K17 was released into stores. If you were not informed of what NBA 2k is I will tell you. NBA 2k is been around since 1999. It was originally made from Sega, or Sega Sports. Now NBA 2k is published by 2K Sports. All of the games on the franchise have been developed by Visual Concepts.Its primary competitor in the marketplace is the NBA Live Series for EA Sports.
The graphics in the NBA 2K increase every year. This year in NBA 2k17 they are including badges witch can "break the game". That means Draymond Green can have moving screens, Kelly Olynyk can "break people shoulders" and Dwyane Wade can push the defender of the inbound pass. You can also create your own player and get drafted into a team.
I am going to interview my 3rd cousin Byron Jr.
"What made you wanted to play this game?" "I love the NBA" he said. "Why do you love the NBA?" "There are players that are very talented and they are fun to watch." "What is your favorite NBA player?" "LeBron James because he is good off and on the court.
If you are thinking you still don't want to play I will highly suggest that you play it because it is a very good game. I haven't play it yet but I know once you play it you will love it. Thank you for reading this and have a good day!

Cross country is one of my greatest so Instead of cold hard facts I interviewed my good friend Briann. She is an amazing runner a maybe an even better runner than me. The reason Briann stared Cross country is because she a great passion for running well I guess she wants to just run free. Brianne plans to do cross country next year.
So I asked Briann if she would what to be her own couch or be couched. She said she would want to be couched because she wanted someone to tell her how to get better in each way. I would want someone to tell how to get better in each way. My option is to be my own couch because I want to run free.
Or scheduled times are 5:30 to 6:30 and school stares at 8:00 so it is a big rush to take a shower get all my homework together and the rest of the maddens. So I asked Briann if the time was convenient for she said it was a good schedule because it was easy to work with she it is better than the afternoon it is hot in the afternoon.
Briann’s most favorite thing to do at cross country is just to run freely and just run with her friend’s. Briann greatest challenge is increasing her time each meet. My greatest challenge is getting first place in one of my meets.
Guess what the cross country team made it to state the reason we are going is because we have gotten 1st and 2nd place a few times so that qualifies us for state we have two state meets one on the 29th of October 2016 this state all school are invited to go but state championships is where the only if the team qualified and the state championships is on the 4th of November 2016.

All active, retired, reserve and veteran Marines and families celebrate the United States Marine Corps birthday. This celebration honors the day the Marine Corps was founded. Every year, on November 10, hundreds if not thousands of USMC birthday balls take place all over the world. At each ball, there is a birthday cake cutting ceremony using the USMC ceremonial sword.
The first piece of cake is given to the guest of honor. The second piece is given to the oldest Marine present, who then passes it to the youngest Marine present. It represents the passing of the USMC traditions through generations. Captain Clay Bringhurst told me that he and this family listen to the Commandants birthday message each year and cut a Marine Corps birthday with his sword. He also wishes his fellow Marines Happy Birthday through phone calls and emails.
"It is important for people of all ages to know what happened on November 10,1925 because the USMC keeps our country safe This is the day that the USMC became an official service", said Captain Jason Mansel.
I asked some Marines what their proudest moments were and here is what I found out. Captain Will Wennberg said, "My proudest moment was when he re-enlisted Sgt. Neives Avila on board the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, HI, after he had given up on himself as a Marine and wanted to quit." Major James Moran's proudest moment was, "Leading young Marines into combat. It is the ultimate challenge and an enormous responsibility. Many men's lives depend on the decisions you make when you go to war. I am proud to have been given the opportunity to go to war with Marines."
The Marine Corps Birthday Ball is a way for Marines to come together to celebrate the past, present and the future. Some Marines go to formal birthday balls, while others celebrate in a smaller way at home or with USMC friends. This year the Marines will be turning 241 years old.

Ever Since I can remember I have dreamed of becoming a barrel racer. I have loved horses all of my life. I got my first horse when I was 2 and I absolutely loved him.
Becoming a barrel racer takes a lot of training. You have to have a trainer and a fast and well behaved horse. It takes a long time to find the right horse. If you are just a beginner rider you don't want a crazy horse. You will definitely want one that is well behaved. Taking care of a horse takes a lot of time and dedication.
Debbie Carter is a professional barrel racer. Debbie has been barrel racing since she was 5 years old. Her first horse was a paint pony named Patches. Even though barrel racing is her passion, she like to do other things like team roping, hanging out with friends, and scuba diving. She spends a lot of time taking care of her 4 horses. Her fastest time on the standard barrel pattern was 16.9 seconds. Her current barrel horses that she runs on are named Troy and Whatits.
Sonya May is another professional barrel racer. She was 5 years old when she started barrel racing. Her first horse was named Sorrley. She also likes to go to the lake and do outdoor activities with her horses. She has worked really hard to be a barrel racer. She spends a lot of time practicing and making sure her horses are healthy.
Someday I hope to be a professional barrel racer like Debbie and Sonya. I know it will take a lot of hard work and dedication but it will be worth it. My barrel racing horse named Hollywood is very fast. Hopefully someday Hollywood and I will be well known for barrel racing.

Matthew Cole Lujan was born in Stockton, California August 23, 1988. He is a pitcher for the Sacramento River Cats, a SF Giants minor league baseball team. As some people like to call him, “Mattie Lu” is my baseball fundamentals and baseball specific speed & strength training coach. If Matt wasn’t coaching he would like to be a chef.
When Matt is not playing baseball or coaching he likes to play music. Matt’s most memorable moment was when he pitched against the SF Giants. His most memorable game was when he pitched at home and struck out 13. After baseball Matt would like to be a baseball scout.
Matt’s favorite food is anything Italian. His favorite ballpark is the San Francisco Giants AT&T Park. Matt likes to listen to Reggae Rock music. His favorite team outside of baseball is California’s Golden State Warriors.
The player that influenced Matt the most was the Chicago Cubs HOF Greg Maddux #31. The best advice anyone gave Matt was “lead by example". Matt has been my coach all this fall. When winter ball starts I hope he is my team’s coach!
I love the way you described Matt's life story, B.T.W maybe you could add a little more detail about how he became famous. Finally I like how descriptive you were about what he likes.

On September 24, 2016, Ridgeline history was made. Seven boys and ten girls had a memorable experience at their cross country meet. The day began like normal, but ended completely different. You will never guest what crazy things we did to make it here. This is a day that I will never forget!
Before our meet, practice began as usual at 4:45am, when I dragged my tired self out of bed and into the car. Later, when I finally arrived at practice, the real work began. The Ridgeline Academy Cross Country Team always runs their buns off before you even get your pants on. After the stretching routine we conquered the 3 mile trail. It included twists, turns, bumps, and buckles. We stretched, then our Tuesday practice was over.
On Wednesday after school, I headed to the Spanish room for team study hall, which lasts until 4:30. When study hall ended the team went outside to do our 1-mile warm up. Next we sprinted half a mile and worked our way down from there. When we were done sprinting we did plyometrics, that are little bursts of energy, like burpies. Then we stretched and practice was over.
Thursday began the same way as Wednesday, but the training is very different. After warm up we started our 4-mile run. When our run was done we stretched. Then, on Friday we got a break so that we had enough energy for our meet on Saturday.
On Saturday when our meet finally came we all lined up at the starting line. The gun fired and we all shoot off like rockets. Part way though the run I started getting tired then I realized that I was almost to the finish line. I started sprinting so fast that it felt like I was flying. Later I found out that the boys made 2nd place and the girls made 1st.
I interviewed a person on my team. Her name is Kylie Gagnon. She said, “The whole team was jumping with joy when we had found out that we had placed”. I also interviewed a parent on the team about how she felt when we won first place. She said, “I was so proud of all the kids. They did such a great job!!!” This is a day that I will never forget!

Hideako Anno, creater of Neon Genesis Evangelion, boldly dared to go where no other Japanese Godzilla franchise had dared to go before. Scrap the story line laid out by the 1954 classic and start fresh.
Throughout the 2000s, Toho tried its best to improve special effects while maintaining a solid plot. Although the newmillennium's series broke new ground for the king of the monsters. It had seemed as though the attempt to rekindle interest in his character was too little too late. As the movie opened, mass confusion and panic ensues as bizarre catastrophes are happening off the coast of Japan. At first they think its some sort of natural sea creature.
At that point, fans recognize the fear that strikes the officials dealing with and you wait silently, for the one word that brings clarity to the situation:"Godzilla". Instead what you get is panic,chaos, and a rush to figure out what to do about this strange creature, that nobody knows or saw before. Plus it becomes apparent that nobody had ever seen a giant monster before. This was s drastic departure from the horror that strikes the character in all other Godzilla sequels when they realize that Godzilla has returned. No, Godzilla did not exist until this movie according to this timeline.

Next you make some tools and go mining. Then get ores like coal, Iron, Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, Gold, Diamonds, and Emeralds.
Minecraft was made in 2009 May 17th. Minecraft was also made in Sweden. Minecraft was created because Markus Person the creator made it because he thought it would be good for kids to play a game that you can do any thing in. Here is a reason why Minecraft is so incredibly popular. Minecraft is a literal sandbox with in finite replay ability.

Pokémon sun and moon a 3Ds game coming to Pokémon fans November 18 2016. Satoshi Tajiki the creator of Pokémon states ''Pokémon on the 3ds will end when we make a remake of a few games''. I asked Mr.Tajiki a few questions, like what new remakes and will that include games that have already been remade. He responded saying ''maybe, but 4th gen is something we will make a remake for, also due to Niantic I cant tell you any more things about that topic''.
So I moved on to my next question, youtubers like Tyranitar tube speculate about those pre Pokémon befor the legendary, is that a pre evolution from the legendary Pokémon. ''Yes indeed, as mewtwo got a mega I think the last new gen would have something everyone wonts''. He didn't call me back because he told me something he wasn't supposed to tell me.
Before that I got a few more info. So I asked him what the strongest starter was and he said it was Rowlet, and the weakest was pobliao, and the final types for the Pokémon were not fighting,steeel and ice DOOBS, it was ghost, dark, and fairy.
I asked google some things and there are 8 ultra beasts, which is amazing. A theory is that each ultra beast is a person, but in person form. So like an ultra beast would pretend to be a person. also another theory is that you can travel back ta kanto and joto to battle Red, Gold, Silver, Blue, and the rest of people.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever been to the zoo? Well if not you should go, and Ill tell you why. At the zoo there are many different animals like birds, monkeys, tigers, and more.You can experience the amazing wildlife at the zoo. Most zoo animals are easy to spot.
At the zoo there are also fun rides. They have carousels, camel rides, and even a train ride. on the carousel you pick an animal on the ride and strap in,and then the ride slowly spins. Next on the camel ride you get to choose a 2 humped or 1 humped camel. Then you will be lead on the camel. Finally, on the train ride you get on by the carousel and the driver gives you an amazing tour of the zoo.
The zoo is defiantly family friendly. The animals are always caged. If you have a 2 year old don't be afraid to grab a stroller and roll around the zoo. Maybe you have 10 year old with a lot of stuff to carry around, grab a wagon and go.
The zoo is a fun and cool experience. So bring your 1 year old or maybe a 14 year old. It doesn't matter how old you are to go. The zoo is a great place to go for all ages.
Hi Niffer its KK and I really loved your story about whats its like to be at the zoo. But I think you should add more detail about the carousel. Like give some animals on the carousel. I liked the part about the camels.
